Sasol Banyana Banyana’s WAFCON 2026 journey takes shape with draw reveal

The excitement around the 2026 CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations continues to build following the official draw announcement, which confirmed that Sasol Banyana Banyana will compete in a highly competitive Group B. South Africa will go head-to-head with the Ivory Coast, Tanzania, and Burkina Faso when the tournament gets underway in Morocco from 17 March to 4 April 2026.

After a disappointing exit at the 2025 CAF TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations(WAFCON), Sasol Banyana Banyana return to the continental stage with renewed determination and a clear mission to = represent South Africa with pride and excellence.. The draw sets the tone for an intense group stage, with each nation bringing its own style, experience, and competitive edge.
